Arrival of the package
No. 1 · 19 July 2026The delivery, which was left with some haste, remained untouched for several days. Having been relieved of the weeks pressing matters I moved the device into my workshop. Closer inspection, and no little research, reveal it to be a Victor 4-X-644 table-top radio — manufactured in the year 1956 by RCA. The only providence allowed to me is that it was manufactured in Camden New Jersey. A glyph on the back leads one to believe it produces the tone of the "golden throat" as certified by one J L (last name illegible) which the glyph goes to assure, holds considerable prestige at the RCA Radio Division.
